In December 2015, CBS and Paramount filed a joint lawsuit against Alec Peters and Axanar Productions. Citing numerous breaches of copyright and intellectual property law, the two sides battled it out for thirteen months and were one week away from court proceedings when they reached a settlement agreement. That's not the end of the story, however, as Alec Peters continues to scour the internet for new sources of income for his OWC studios business, another new venture following a bankrupt outing with Propworx.

The season's on delay folks... as a production job takes priority. And with a busy Christmas and New Year I wasn't able to get ahead like I needed to get the year cracking on Jan 1. Rest assured though, come Tuesday we'll have some exciting content for you.

Members ... in 2025 we're going back to daily podcasts! With YouTube increasing the time limit on shorts to 3 minutes, we can now bring you the best science and space news in bite size pieces. Where you'll get the headline in the first 10 seconds and a full breakdown in 3 minutes or less. This way you can still get in the know and come back later if you haven't got the time. We'll be bringing a plethora of guests through the Zoom window across the year, and our chats - typically between 10 and 20 minutes - will be on-line the same day as the short, but for members only... going public a week later. That's a lot of info to take in, but the tl;dr is - join us for a year of science and space starting JANUARY 1 right here on Trekzone!
